Roberto Aguilar, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, is a Founding Partner at Aguilar Zank, which main role is to provide tailored legal and business advice for our customers, helping them to identify the business opportunity that Mexico as a huge market and as a strategic location offers, while having the security of legal backing in the field.

He is a lawyer and entrepreneur with international experience in both professional and academic fields. He studied law at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico (ITESM) and did a Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) in France. He did several courses such as international negotiations and intellectual property at the University of San Diego, an international entrepreneurship program at Stanford, an entrepreneurship program on climate change at the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (European Commission), among others.

He worked as a business lawyer at the international law firm Baker & McKenzie for 4 years, helping foreign companies with their business operations in Mexico. He also worked in Berlin and London as a business development consultant for Startups.
